Founder & AI Health Innovation Strategist
Juan brings the systems-level vision behind FloWell: the belief that health should be understood not as a collection of isolated treatments, but as an interconnected ecosystem linking medical intelligence, human performance, recovery, technology, expert knowledge, and eventually physical care environments.
His background combines venture building and business architecture with direct exposure to HealthTech and telemedicine initiatives, formal endurance-sport education through Ironman University, including sports nutrition, and ongoing graduate-level studies in Artificial Intelligence. He has also continued developing knowledge across biomechanics, motor control, fascial function, mitochondrial health, neuroplasticity, sports neurology, and flow states. This combination of business strategy, healthcare technology, performance education, and interdisciplinary study shaped the original FloWell concept and the conviction that the company should begin not as a collection of wellness facilities, but as a scalable intelligence platform capable of connecting knowledge, users, physicians, institutions, and treatments.
At FloWell, Juan is responsible for translating that vision into a coherent and scalable business architecture—leading venture design, fundraising, strategic partnerships, commercialization, product direction, and ecosystem development. His role is to connect clinical leadership, AI infrastructure, expert knowledge, financial rails, and future physical facilities into a single platform that can evolve from digital Health Intelligence into a broader network of medical, performance, recovery, and hospitality environments.
David T. Neuman, MD, FAAOS CEO & Chief Clinical Officer
David brings the clinical authority required to transform FloWell from an ambitious HealthTech concept into a medically responsible and institutionally credible platform. His background in orthopedic surgery, sports medicine, injury prevention, musculoskeletal health, and recovery places him directly within one of FloWell’s foundational use cases: understanding how clinical information, movement, performance, rehabilitation, and long-term health interact.
His importance to FloWell goes beyond serving as a medical advisor. The platform requires a physician capable of defining where AI-generated intelligence should end and human clinical judgment must begin, how expert knowledge should be evaluated, which claims require stronger evidence, and how complex health information can be translated into safe and useful workflows for both individuals and professionals.
As CEO & Clinical Lead, David is responsible for clinical governance, medical strategy, expert standards, safety frameworks, physician-network development, and the clinical logic that guides the platform’s Medical Minds and Health Intelligence architecture. His role ensures that FloWell scales technology without losing medical discipline.
Bill Dennis, M.Ed.
Healthcare Strategy & Human Performance
Bill brings the healthcare strategy, leadership, and human-performance perspective that helps FloWell connect medical intelligence with the realities of how professionals, organizations, and individuals actually operate. With a Master of Education in Counseling Psychology, his background is rooted in psychology, counseling, mind-body health, executive coaching, leadership development, and decades of work helping healthcare professionals strengthen their practices, professional networks, and organizational effectiveness.
Through Metro Collaborative, Bill has focused on connecting clinicians across disciplines, developing professional communities, improving practice performance, and helping healthcare leaders adapt to changing clinical and business environments. His contribution to FloWell is therefore not as a practicing physician, but as a strategist who understands the human, organizational, and behavioral factors that influence healthcare delivery, professional collaboration, and sustainable performance.
At FloWell, Bill is responsible for healthcare strategy, expert-community development, leadership integration, physician relationships, and the human-performance dimension of the ecosystem. His role helps ensure that FloWell evolves not only as an AI platform, but as a trusted professional network capable of connecting medical knowledge, leadership, behavioral insight, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Mario Lopez, MD
Chief Complex Care & Oncology Officer
Mario brings the surgical, oncological, and complex-care perspective that strengthens FloWell’s clinical depth in serious disease and multidisciplinary treatment pathways. Trained as a Medical Doctor and Surgeon at Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala, where he also completed a Master’s Degree in General Surgery, his background includes general surgery, laparoscopic surgery, surgical oncology, and supportive regenerative approaches for selected patients undergoing complex treatment.
His oncology experience includes the surgical management of cancer and the coordination of care around recovery, nutritional status, metabolic resilience, and adjunctive support. He also has experience incorporating NAD+-based and other regenerative-support protocols for selected oncology patients under medical supervision, always as complementary care rather than a substitute for evidence-based cancer treatment.
At FloWell, Mario helps develop the oncology, surgery, complex-care, and supportive regenerative dimensions of the ecosystem, bringing specialist clinical judgment into Medical Minds, multidisciplinary pathways, and responsible integrative-care protocols.
Clarissa Avendaño
Chief Holistic & Spiritual Wellbeing Officer
Clarissa brings the holistic, spiritual, and feminine-health dimension that complements FloWell’s clinical and performance ecosystem. With more than 35 years of experience across Germanic Medicine, Biological Medicine, functional and organic health approaches, medical cosmetology, aesthetics education, and university teaching, her background reflects a long-term commitment to whole-person wellbeing and restorative care.
Her professional trajectory includes Medical Cosmetology training in Canada, international accreditation through CIDESCO, founding the first university-level Aesthetics program at Universidad Galileo, directing that program for five years, and teaching at Universidad Rafael Landívar and Universidad Galileo.
At FloWell, Clarissa is responsible for shaping the holistic, spiritual, and feminine dimension of the ecosystem—integrating contemplative wellbeing, mind-body awareness, restorative practices, personal meaning, spirituality, and complementary approaches while maintaining clear boundaries between spiritual experience and evidence-based medical care.
